Education & Training

Centre Visits

We are a 9 acre wildlife site loacted in Eltham, South East London. We are visited daily by schools, colleges and other education establishments from Greenwich, Lewisham and other neighbouring boroughs.  Approximately 10,000 pupils and adults visit the centre every year.to extend their learning.  Our aim is to provide a fun and exciting educational experience in the outdoors.  Through a cross curricular approach we hope to encourage a love for and respect of the natural environment.

Training Teachers and Practitioners

We aim to equip and inspire teachers and practioners with the knowledge and confidence to use the outdoors creatively to develop and educate children. At the Centre, we can provide outdoor and environmental training linked to a specific area of the curriculum or if you prefer with a cross curricular creative approach. This can be for either a whole or half day or a twilight session.

We also offer for free, whole school ‘Introduction to the Centre’ after school sessions – so bring all your staff along for a cup of tea and a stroll around the grounds to find out what we do and inspire them for their next visit. To find out more please contact the centre.
