Forest School
Forest school uses the outdoor environment to help children learn. Through regular visits to Forest School they are encouraged to develop independence, improve language and decision-making and raise their self esteem through small achieveable tasks.
Sessions at Forest school are child led to accomdate different learning styles and schemas and the adults role is facilitative.
Since march 2006 ECS have worked in partnership with Greenwich childrens services (early years) and Evesham College to make Greenwich the only borough in London and the South East to develop Forest School.
