Horton Kirby Environmental Studies Centre - Resources

Health & Safety Resources

The Health and Safety of groups visiting Horton Kirby is incredibly important to us. The Centre carries out Risk Assessments for all of its activities and study sites. Risk Assessments can be downloaded from this website (see activities section). When planning your school journey please consult the appropriate risk assessments and let us know if you feel any adjustments need to be made to your day.

Generic Risk Assessments for the use of our Classrooms and Playground area can be found below.

The Centre’s Risk Assessments cover every aspect of your day except for your journey to and from the Centre. We recommend that you use the Generic Risk Assessment from ‘There and Back Again’ as a starting point, making any adjustments you feel necessary.

Click on the buttons below for more guidance regarding H&S on school visits. If you have any questions please consult your EVC.
