Wide Horizons believes that every child, should have the opportunity to experience adventures as part of their education and development. We are dedicated to developing well-rounded young people who are environmentally conscious, active members of their communities and have the right skills to build their own futures.
We operate eight outdoor centres which offer a mixture of day and residential courses as well as community outreach programmes delivering adventure to over 45,000 children and young people working with over 450 schools.. Through adventurous activities children and young people learn how to co-operate with others, take responsibility for their own welfare, and have the confidence and determination to overcome challenges in a supportive setting.
Our safety record is impeccable. With our vastly experienced staff team and our tried and tested systems and procedures we maintain an outstanding level of professionalism by recognising that the welfare of each child and young person is paramount. All of our staff are highly-skilled and subject to Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks. Certified First Aiders will also be on site at all times. Our rigorous and thorough approach to Health and Safety will give you and your children true peace of mind.
