Horton Kirby Environmental Studies Centre provides a range of outdoor learning experiences which cover many areas of the National Curriculum, particulary Geography, Science and History.
The Centre is surrounded by farmland, woods and villages and is close to the River Darent and a Country Park. All of these provide wonderful opportunities for learning and discovery.
The Centre has 3 classrooms in a Victorian school building, its own World War 2 air raid shelter and a Roman Villa on its doorstep. All can be used for historical study.
