Mountain Leader Training 25th – 29th October 2008 This training course is for those who wish to lead parties in the hills and mountains anywhere in the British Isles in summer conditions. Aimed at mountain walkers with some experience, the practical skills and techniques covered include all aspects of navigation, group management & supervision on steep ground. The course will also include an overnight camp and a night navigation exercise. Cost £260+VAT

Walking Group Leader Training 24th – 26th November 2008 This course trains people in the skills required for the leadership of walking parties in non-mountainous hilly terrain, known variously as upland, moor, bog, hill, fell or down. It is valid on appropriate terrain throughout the UK and Ireland in summer conditions. Cost £180+VAT
